Thank you for your interest in Brandeis.
Applying to Brandeis should be a fun and open experience that allows us to get to know you on a personal level. Our holistic, student-centered review takes into account your academic performance and potential and your out-of-class activities and the depth of commitment you have shown to them. In the end, we seek students who we think will fit well in the Brandeis community and contribute to it in their years on campus.
Admission to Brandeis is certainly selective. We are well aware that the college application process is a stressful time for many students and their families. Each year we receive many more applications from qualified students than we can possibly admit. We pledge to you that the process will be thorough and fair, and that it will take into account every aspect of a student’s record and — as best we can determine — his or her potential to succeed at Brandeis.
We have created this website to provide you as much information and insight as possible into Brandeis and into the application process from beginning to end. We hope you will spend some time exploring the site. We welcome questions you might have and we hope to see you here sometime on a visit.
Above all, we wish you the best of luck in your college search.
